The task involved identifying a topic of personal interest from local news outlets such as InForum, Valley News Live, or KFGO, and crafting a concise, compelling response in under 250 words.
This assignment honed my skills in persuasive writing, brevity, and structure through the OREO framework: stating my opinion clearly, supporting it with reasoning, providing a concrete example, and restating my position effectively. By incorporating backlinks to relevant articles, I ensured my argument was both timely and substantiated.
